Chances are Bruno Fernando will be declaring for the NBA draft which shouldn’t surprise anyone because he’s one of the most talented bigs in the nation. But Maryland still returns a lot, including Anthony Cowan Jr. and Jalen Smith.

Decisions have still yet to be made for Fernando and Aaron Wiggins, but the Terrapins should be one of the most loaded teams in the Big Ten next season.

The Terrapins have a proven point guard in Cowan Jr. who led the team in scoring and a sophomore big in Smith who can put up double-double type of numbers. He needs to add a bit more of a post game if the Terrapins are going to make up for the potential loss of Fernando.

Mark Turgeon has never had a shortage of talent since taking over in College Park and the 2019-20 season will be no different.

On top of the excess of returning talent, Maryland is bringing in the No. 27 recruiting class in the country. This 23-win team is about to approach 30 in 2019-20.
