Players costing over $6,667

Paul George (vs HOU – $10,000): Needs 41.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 53.4 fantasy points against Minnesota. George is one of the few high salary guys who is still playing hard because the Thunder have something to play for and getting plenty of minutes. He’s played well against the Rockets this season, averaging 58.2 fantasy points in three games against them. His game has been off since the All-Star break but he’s not playing bad right now and the circumstances are good for him. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Mario Hezonja (at CHI – $7,700): Needs 32.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 45.7 fantasy points against Washington. Super Mario continues to be the best player in the league and I am here for it. His salary has jumped but I’m not concerned about him. Not with the way he’s playing and not against this matchup. I love everything about Hezonja in this game. He should continue to put up big numbers given recent play and circumstances. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Joe Ingles (vs DEN – $7,100): Needs 29.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28.8 fantasy points against LA Lakers. Ingles was down slightly against the Lakers but I’m not concerned about him. Not in this matchup with these circumstances. The Jazz are going to play hard in this matchup and the Nuggets don’t have quite as much reason to care. Ingles will bounce back with a good performance and be back over 30 fantasy points. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
