High Value PG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Reggie Jackson (at NY – $5,600): Needs 26.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 22.75 fantasy points against Memphis. Who knows what you’re getting with Jackson on most nights but the Pistons have something to play for and that certainly helps Jackson’s case. And he’s up against the Knicks, which also helps his case. He’ll get numbers in this game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Bryn Forbes (vs DAL – $5,200): Needs 24.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27.5 fantasy points against Cleveland. My guess is that Derrick White will play limited minutes, which means Forbes will pick up the extra time. Patty Mills will also see extra minutes if you want to go that route. But Forbes is at a nice salary assuming he gets the minutes and he’s up against a bad Mavericks team. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Quinn Cook (at MEM – $3,800): Needs 18.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27 fantasy points against New Orleans. The Warriors aren’t going to play anyone, at least not big minutes. Which means Cook is going to pick up big minutes and get the numbers reserved for the All-Stars. And he’s up against a bad Memphis team. Finally, he’s at a great salary. This should be an easy night for Cook and a great value pick up. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
