High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,250

Paul George (at MIL – $10,300): Needs 47.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 51.75 fantasy points against Houston. The Thunder say they are going to treat this game as meaningful, which they should because they can get the six seed. That’s good news for anyone thinking about taking Paul George. He’s a very reliable option on a night where a lot of high salary guys aren’t reliable options due to what could be a lack of minutes. George will get the minutes. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Aaron Gordon (at CHA – $7,500): Needs 34.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.75 fantasy points against Boston. I don’t know what you’re going to get out of Gordon and the Magic but he’s at a decent enough salary and does have a high ceiling. I’m just not in love with a lot of guys at this position and there are so many injuries and questionable statuses that your options are fairly limited anyway. He’ll get decent enough minutes and put up some numbers. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Jakarr Sampson (at PHI – $6,800): Needs 31.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 24.5 fantasy points against New York. Someone has to get these numbers for the Bulls and Sampson has been playing well. Plus, the Sixers aren’t exactly giving much effort right now. There are a lot of injuries at this position to where your options are limited in the first place. Sampson is at least going to get minutes and opportunities. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
