Players costing over $6,667

Luka Doncic (at SA – $9,100): Needs 38.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 61.7 fantasy points against Phoenix. Luka put on a show against the Suns because everyone puts on a show against the Suns. The Spurs are a tougher matchup and they are playing for seeding but Luka has been playing great all season and is maybe feeling the pressure from Young in the ROY race? The Mavericks need something and Luka has been providing them with everything this season. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Delon Wright (vs GS – $8,900): Needs 38 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28.8 fantasy points against Detroit. Wright was down against the Pistons and that’s worrisome but there just aren’t many reliable options at the high salary shooting guard position, at least not ones that are going to get guaranteed minutes given all of the circumstances on the final night of the season. And it’s not like the Warriors are going to care in this game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Andrew Wiggins (at DEN – $7,200): Needs 30.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.1 fantasy points against Toronto. I don’t like the high salary shooting guard options and I don’t know if Wiggins is going to get the minutes. Maybe there is a contract bonus we don’t know about? I’m sure the Timberwolves put something in there after giving him all that money. He’s a high ceiling guy but not exactly the most reliable option. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.
