High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,250

Kevin Durant (vs LAC – $8,000): Needs 36.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32 fantasy points against Memphis. You typically know what you’re getting out of Kevin Durant. And he’s at a good salary. He averaged 55.4 fantasy points in four games against the Clippers this season. He’s going to get you value if nothing else and the ceiling is much higher. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Kawhi Leonard (vs ORL – $7,900): Needs 36.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.5 fantasy points against Minnesota. I know people will scoff at the Raptors because it’s playoff Raptors. But have you met playoff Kawhi? He will make sure the Raptors are quite the Raptors. Especially against this Magic team. Expect a whole new Kawhi in this game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

High Value SF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Rudy Gay (at DEN – $5,400): Needs 24.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 23 fantasy points against Dallas. Guys will have to step up for the Spurs and get tough buckets. And Gay has proven that he can get tough buckets. He wasn’t great against Denver this season but I trust him in the playoffs when. The game slows down and guys have to work a little harder. He does hard work better than most. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Danny Green (vs ORL – $3,900): Needs 18 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 19.5 fantasy points against Minnesota. Green is an inconsistent option but he’s also a playoff proven performer. And with the mystique around the Raptors, they’ll need a guy like Danny Green to lead the way. He was good against the Magic this season, averaging 26.3 fantasy points in four games. He’s a salary saver with good upside. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
