High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,250

LaMarcus Aldridge (at DEN – $7,500): Needs 35.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 60 fantasy points against Dallas. Aldridge can be all over the place but he’s also going to get big minutes and plenty of shots for the Spurs. He averaged 36/4 fantasy points in four games against the Nuggets this season. He should be at value if nothing else in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Tobias Harris (vs BKN – $6,400): Needs 29.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 20.25 fantasy points against Miami. Harris hasn’t been as good as the Sixers had probably hoped but the loss of Embiid has put him in a different role. The good news is that he’ll be called upon even more in this game with Embiid out. And this is a great matchup with the Nets lack of defense and interior. Harris is at a good salary and will get you value if nothing else. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

High Value PF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Jonathan Isaac (at TOR – $5,100): Needs 23.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 14.75 fantasy points against Boston. Isaac was up-and-down to end the season but one matchup he seemed to do very well against was the Raptors. He averaged 26.1 fantasy points in four games, but that number jumped to 29.7 fantasy points when he was a starter. He’s starting now and this matchup seems to be a good one for him. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Mike Scott (vs BKN – $3,700): Needs 17.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 19.75 fantasy points against Chicago. If Embiid isn’t going to play, Scott should draw the start and get good frontcourt minutes for the Sixers. The Nets don’t offer much in the frontcourt and this should be a good chance for Scott to at least get you value given the minutes he’ll end up receiving. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
