DeMar DeRozan (at DEN – $8,600): Needs 37.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38 fantasy points against Dallas. I know the jokes about playoff DeRozan. We all know the jokes about playoff DeRozan. But he’s on the Spurs. And that’s typically a good thing. And the Nuggets are good, but they haven’t been here before. The ceiling is high but he could bust because of playoff DeRozan. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

D’Angelo Russell (at PHI – $8,300): Needs 35.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38.9 fantasy points against Miami. I love Russell on Saturday. The Sixers defense can’t be trusted with Embiid out of the lineup and Russell has a very high ceiling based on his scoring and playmaking. If anyone is going to step up for the Nets, it’s going to be him. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Players costing $6,667 or under

Terrence Ross (at TOR – $6,400): Needs 27.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 47.2 fantasy points against Charlotte. Ross was hot to end the season and there’s just something about contract year Ross. He was up-and-down against the Raptors this season and I’m not buying into these being the same Raptors. But Ross is a shooter who is going to get his shots in this game. The ceiling is high. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

Danny Green (vs ORL – $4,700): Needs 20.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 20.4 fantasy points against Minnesota. You know those jokes about the Raptors? Having a guy like Danny Green is why I don’t buy into them being the same team. He’s a veteran who has been here before and he will step up in this game. He had 25.5 fantasy points in four games against the Magic this season. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
