High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,667

Kevin Durant (vs LAC – $9,600): Needs 40.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33 fantasy points against Memphis. You pretty much know what you’re going to get out of Durant in the playoffs. And against this Clippers team. He averaged 54.3 fantasy points in four games against the Clippers this season. He will get you value if nothing else. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Kawhi Leonard (vs ORL – $9,300): Needs 39.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33.7 fantasy points against Minnesota. The other reason I don’t buy into the Raptors being the same team is that they have Kawhi Leonard. He’s the second best player in the East playoffs and he’s going to prove it, especially in this matchup. He wasn’t great against the Magic this season but he also didn’t play too many minutes. He’ll deliver. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Rudy Gay (at DEN – $5,400): Needs 22.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 21.5 fantasy points against Dallas. Gay is a guy who I expect to step up in this game. The Spurs are going to need tough buckets and Gay is a guy who can get tough buckets. He averaged 26.4 fantasy points in four games against the Nuggets this season. He’ll get you value if nothing else in this game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Jonathan Isaac (at TOR – $5,000): Needs 21.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 15.6 fantasy points against Boston. Isaac was up-and-down to end the season. But this is a matchup he did very well against this season. He was over 28 fantasy points in three of four games against the Raptors this season. As a starter, he averaged 30.9 fantasy points in three games. This would appear to be his matchup. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
