Nikola Vucevic (at TOR – $9,800): Needs 44.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 51.4 fantasy points against Boston. The Magic are going to need something in this game and Vucevic has been their best player all season. He averaged 1.58 FPPM in four games against the Raptors this season. I’m going to trust him to be the guy to step up for Orlando. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

DeMarcus Cousins (vs LAC – $9,000): Needs 40.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 47.4 fantasy points against New Orleans. Playoff DeMarcus Cousins is going to be an animal. He’s been waiting a long time for this moment, his minutes are up, and he’s going to dominate this series. The Clippers have no real answer for him and Cousins will get it done in a big way. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Players costing $6,667 or under

Marc Gasol (vs ORL – $6,000): Needs 27.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 18.7 fantasy points against Minnesota. Gasol has been all over the place since the trade but they brought him to Toronto for this moment. And he’s a guy that I have to trust in the playoffs. The minutes should be up and we know Gasol can do a bit of everything when he’s really on his game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Jarrett Allen (at PHI – $6,000): Needs 27.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25.8 fantasy points against Miami. No Joel Embiid should mean a strong outing for Allen. The Sixers defense isn’t great and we know Allen has a high ceiling. As long as the minutes are there, he should deliver a strong game. And the minutes should be there with no Embiid. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
