DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – April 14, 2019
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,250
Damian Lillard (vs OKC – $8,400): Needs 40.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 45 fantasy points against LA Lakers. Once again, don’t put much stock into the LAST GAME since the numbers will be all over the place due to a lack from minutes from some guys. Lillard torched the Thunder this year, averaging 57.3 fantasy points in four games. And he’ll look to make up for last seasons playoffs. He’s also the top option by far with Nurkic out and McCollum still working his way back. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Kyrie Irving (vs. IND – $8,100): Needs 39.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42.75 fantasy points against Orlando. Playoff Kyrie will be in. The building after missing last season. And that’s great news for the Celtics. I have no doubt about Kyrie’s game, especially in the playoffs. The Pacers are a good defensive team but Kyrie will get his numbers without question. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
High Value PG
Players costing $6,250 or under
Eric Bledsoe (vs DET – $6,200): Needs 30.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25.25 fantasy points against Atlanta. Bledsoe should be looking to make up for last years playoffs and he’s been great against the Pistons this season, averaging 39.9 fantasy points in four games. No Malcolm Brogdon is going to mean more opportunities for Bledsoe to step up. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Darren Collison (at BOS – $4,800): Needs 23.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 14.75 fantasy points against Atlanta. Collison wasn’t too great to end the season but the Pacers were locked into their spot and there was no reason for him to really play to the level we know he’s capable of. He’ll pick it up now that the playoffs are here. And he’s at a great salary given the minutes and opportunities he’ll get. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
