DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – April 14, 2019
High Salary SG
Players costing over $6,250
James Harden (vs UTA – $10,100): Needs 48.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 62 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. It’s playoff Harden and it’s a matchup he did very well against last season in the playoffs. The Jazz don’t have a real answer for him and really, most teams don’t have a real answer for Harden based on. His offensive game. He’ll deliver big. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Donovan Mitchell (at HOU – $8,200): Needs 39.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 65.2 fantasy points against Denver. Mitchell is a game-time decision but it’s the playoffs so I’m going to assume that he’ll play. Check his status before making any decision. Assuming he plays, he’s the top option for the Jazz and he should have no issue getting his numbers in this game as the Jazz will score and Mitchell will be the big reason why. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
High Value SG
Players costing $6,250 or under
CJ McCollum (vs OKC – $5,800): Needs 27.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 18.25 fantasy points against LA Lakers. McCollum wasn’t quite himself following the injury but the minutes should be back up given that it’s the playoffs. He also typically plays very well against the Thunder. He averaged 31.4 fantasy points in four games against the Thunder this season. He’s a risk but the ceiling is high. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling
Dennis Schroder (at POR – $5,500): Needs 26.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 53.75 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Schroder can be all over the place but I know the minutes and opportunities are going to be there for him. Much like McCollum, there is some risk involved with him but he also has a high ceiling. He’s a guy who can step up for the Thunder in a big way. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.
