High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,250

Giannis Antetokounmpo (vs DET – $10,400): Needs 48 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 54.25 fantasy points against Atlanta. Playoff Giannis is about the be the scariest man alive. His minutes are going to be up in a big way and he’s going to absolutely terrorize a not so great Pistons team. He averaged 1.62 FPPM in four games against the Pistons this season. Build around. Him with all the confidence in the world. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Paul George (at POR – $9,200): Needs 42.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 51.75 fantasy points against Houston. George is listed as a game-time decision but all indication is that he’ll play. His shooting is still a bit all over the place but he’s still a guy who gets numbers in a big way. He averaged 67.6 fantasy points in four games against the Blazers this season. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

High Value SF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Jayson Tatum (vs IND – $5,700): Needs 26.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 1.25 fantasy points against Orlando. Being the playoffs, I’m going to expect that Tatum will step up in during this time of year. But the returns of Kyrie and Hayward certainly push him down the food chain. You can save money with Hayward, who really found his rhythm at the end of the year. But Tatum has the higher ceiling. Diagnosis:

Bojan Bogdanovic (at BOS – $5,600): Needs 25.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 23.5 fantasy points against Brooklyn. Bogdanovic has been a reliable option for most of the season for the Pacers and he’ll have to be good in this game if the Pacers are going to have a chance. He stepped up last year in the playoffs and given reliability, he’s at a very good salary. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
