DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – April 15, 2019
High Salary C
Players costing over $6,250
Joel Embiid (vs BKN – $9,800): Needs 48 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 56.75 fantasy points against Brooklyn. Embiid is once again a game-time decision so check his status before making any decisions. Assuming he plays, you can expect him to be in for a big night because the Nets have no answer for him. He should feast once again and the Sixers should use him more inside than outside as well. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
DeMarcus Cousins (vs LAC – $7,100): Needs 34.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25.75 fantasy points against LA Clippers. Cousins wasn’t the force I thought he would be in Game 1 but he’s still going to get the opportunities and the Warriors are the Warriors. He’s going to get numbers and the ceiling is always high with him. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
High Value C
Players costing $6,250 or under
Draymond Green (vs LAC – $6,100): Needs 29.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38.25 fantasy points against LA Clippers. But if you want to save some money, Draymond is the more reliable option because he fits into the system better and finds other ways to contribute. Draymond typically does his best work in the playoffs and against overmatched teams. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Boban Marjanovic (vs. BKN – $4,200): Needs 20.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.25 fantasy points against Brooklyn. If Embiid doesn’t play, Boban will pick up the minutes. The Nets frontcourt doesn’t have an answer for Embiid or Boban. And if Boban gets the minutes, he’ll at least get you value. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
