High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,667

D’Angelo Russell (at PHI – $8,300): Needs 35.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.6 fantasy points against Philadelphia. It’s a strong night at shooting guard and this is the position that will probably decide things for your DFS team. Russell was only at value in Game 1 but he remains the best option for the Nets and the Sixers defense remains a mess. Russell is going to have a breakout game and it’ll probably happen sooner rather than later. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Jimmy Butler (vs BKN – $8,200): Needs 35.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 56.8 fantasy points against Brooklyn. Playoff Jimmy Butler is a real thing, especially with the way the Sixers are playing right now and Ben Simmons’ lack of scoring in the playoffs. Butler will carry the offense as best he can. You can also spend less and grab Lou Williams, who should continue to produce as the Clippers need offense from someone. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Caris LeVert (at PHI – $6,000): Needs 25.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36.8 fantasy points against Philadelphia. LeVert had been all over the place since his injury but he looked back in form in Game 1, which is hopefully a positive sign heading into Game 2. I’m not fully sold on things because we’ve seen him have a big game and then crash back down. But everything about the matchup and circumstances remains good. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Andre Iguodala (vs LAC – $4,000): Needs 17.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 39.2 fantasy points against LA Clippers. Iguodala is the best player on the Warriors in the playoffs, at least that’s what every Warriors fan keeps telling me. And given his role on the team and the players he’s next to, he should continue to get it done against an overmatched Clippers squad. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
