High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,667

Kevin Durant (vs LAC – $9,600): Needs 40.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41.3 fantasy points against LA Clippers. You typically know what you’re getting out of Durant because he’s on the Warriors and he’s Kevin Durant. The numbers will always be there for him and he has a high ceiling because once he gets going, he can’t be stopped. If nothing else, he’s a guy who will get you value. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Danilo Gallinari (at GS – $7,500): Needs 31.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.1 fantasy points against Golden State. Gallinari has been a reliable option all season and should keep being a reliable option just because the Clippers need someone to carry the offense when Lou Williams isn’t in the game. The ceiling is high because he can get hot but I don’t know if I’d expect it in this series. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a decent ceiling.

High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Joe Harris (at PHI – $5,200): Needs 22 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 14.6 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Harris didn’t deliver much in Game 1 but that’s sort of how it goes with the Nets. The ball gets spread around and guys get shots. One guy can get hot. It wasn’t Harris in Game 1. It could definitely be Harris in Game 2. The minutes and opportunities will continue to be there for him. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

DeMarre Carroll (at PHI – $4,000): Needs 16.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.2 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Carroll might be a more reliable option than Harris because he’s less likely to need to get hot from beyond to arc to contribute. He’s their strongest frontcourt option and they need anything out of their frontcourt at the moment. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
