2. San Francisco 49ers – Nick Bosa, DE, Ohio State

There were a number of upset 49ers fans at the end of last season when they won and moved off the top pick and down to No. 2. It was believed that would cost them the chance to draft Ohio State defensive end Nick Bosa. That’s not necessarily the case with the Cardinals reportedly enamored with Kyler Murray, which could see Bosa end up in the Bay as their latest defensive linemen picked in the top 10.

Bosa missed the majority of his junior season with a core muscle injury that required surgery, but he looked healthy and in shape at the NFL Scouting Combine. His burst in the 10-yard split during his 40 was the type of freakish get-off that should make him a perennial contender to be a double-digit sack monster.
