High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,250

DeMar DeRozan (at DEN – $7,300): Needs 33.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 43.5 fantasy points against Denver. DeRozan didn’t look like Playoff DeRozan for the most part in Game 1, which is a good sign moving forward. I wouldn’t fully trust him but the Spurs don’t have many great options and DeRozan will continue to get his shots. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Jamal Murray (vs SA – $6,300): Needs 30 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.5 fantasy points against San Antonio. Murray is typically a boom or bust guy but he’s another player who will just get his shots, maybe too many shots, in the Nuggets offense. The Nuggets will make more shots in Game 2 and I trust Murray to bounce back with a strong performance. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

High Value SG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Terrence Ross (at TOR – $5,200): Needs 24 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 24 fantasy points against Toronto. Again, don’t buy too much stock into the Magic. You can go with Will Barton at this position if you like. But Ross will get shots off and maybe, if you’re feeling lucky, there will still be some Magic left with this Orlando squad. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

Gary Harris (vs SA – $4,500): Needs 20.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27.75 fantasy points against San Antonio. Harris will get big minutes without a doubt and he played very well in Game 1. He’s also at a great salary given the minutes he will get. I love Harris based on the salary and the circumstances. He’s a strong low-cost option. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
