High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,250

Paul George (at POR – $9,000): Needs 41.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 48 fantasy points against Portland. Paul George says he’s 100% so maybe he will make shots in Game 2? I won’t believe it until I see it but even when he’s not shooting the ball well, he finds ways to contribute and at least get you value. And if he is shooting the ball well, he’s nearly unstoppable. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Kawhi Leonard (vs ORL – $8,100): Needs 37.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36.5 fantasy points against Orlando. Kawhi will be better in Game 2. The Raptors will be better as a team in Game 2. There’s no way they lose both games at home and there’s no way Kawhi is quiet for three of four quarters. Expect a big bounce-back performance. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

High Value SF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Jonathan Isaac (at TOR – $4,900): Needs 22.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27.5 fantasy points against Toronto. I told you prior to Game 1 that this appears to be Isaac’s matchup and he certainly looked strong in Game 1. Once more, don’t completely buy into the Magic. But Game 1 was just building off what he did against the Raptors all regular season. And he’s at a good salary. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Al-Farouq Aminu (vs OKC – $4,800): Needs 22.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 23.75 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. Aminu will continue to get big minutes in this matchup and he’s done well against the matchup all season. I expect the Thunder to be better in Game 2 because they can’t shoot quite as bad in Game 2 (they can, they are the Thunder) but Aminu is at a great salary given his minutes and opportunities. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
