High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,250

LaMarcus Aldridge (at DEN – $7,400): Needs 35.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28.5 fantasy points against Denver. Aldridge wasn’t good in Game 1 and that’s always the risk with Aldridge. But I don’t trust Aaron Gordon all that much, who is your other option in this position. I know Aldridge is going to get the shots and minutes, which is better than nothing. But he’s also prone to being a bust if shots aren’t falling. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

Pascal Siakam (vs ORL – $7,100): Needs 34 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 46.75 fantasy points against Orlando. Siakam delivered all season and he delivered in Game 1. There is no reason to doubt Siakam at this point and the Magic remain a very good matchup for him. He should deliver big once again and is a more reliable option than Aldridge, but maybe the ceiling isn’t quite as high. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

High Value PF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Paul Millsap (vs SA – $5,700): Needs 27.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 17.5 fantasy points against San Antonio. I fully expect Millsap to be better in this game. He’s a veteran for a young Nuggets square and he knows how to step up in these situations. He has to be better for the Nuggets and at some point, he will make an impact in this series. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Jerami Grant (at POR – $5,400): Needs 25.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 23.75 fantasy points against Portland. Grant wasn’t great in Game 1 but still did enough to end up around value and will always get the minutes in this series. Once again, the Thunder will shoot better because it’s nearly impossible for them to shoot worse. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
