Edge. Michigan. Rashan Gary. 8. player. 50.

The Detroit Lions have done a nice job bringing in talent on both sides of the ball this season, and should be heading into draft season with confidence with where this roster is heading. At quarterback, they have a guy who can put up numbers in bunches, though he has yet to prove he can win big games at the NFL level.

On the defensive side of the ball, the Lions lost a big-time player in Ziggy Ansah, who has still yet to latch on with a new team for the 2019 NFL season. He can be replaced in the first round this April by a kid who played his college ball within the state of Michigan in the player of Rashan Gary from the Michigan Wolverines.

Gary is an exciting prospect, and is a player who could develop into one of the better defensive talents to come out of this draft. He is an explosive player off the edge, and while he did not rack up a ton of sacks at the college level, he should end up being a dominant force along this Lions defensive line.

The NFC North could have multiple playoff teams this upcoming season, as the Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings, and Green Bay Packers have all improved this offseason. Do not sleep on the Lions, as they have the talent on both sides of the ball to win games, and should be a perennial playoff team if they can add the right pieces this offseason.
