DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – April 17, 2019
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,250
Giannis Antetokounmpo (vs DET – $10,500): Needs 48.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 54.75 fantasy points against Detroit. The Pistons should make this more competitive but that’s only going to boost Giannis’ numbers. He put up 54.75 fantasy points in 24 minutes which is just nuts. Even in limited minutes, he’s going to dominate this matchup. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Khris Middleton (vs DET – $6,700): Needs 30.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28.25 fantasy points against Detroit. Middleton is a victim of the Bucks being too good but he can still get numbers because he’s the second or third option on the team depending on how things are going. Much like Bledsoe, he’s a reliable option with a high ceiling if the Pistons do make it more competitive. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
High Value SF
Players costing $6,250 or under
Gordon Hayward (vs IND – $5,300): Needs 24.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27.75 fantasy points against Indiana. Hayward continues to look more like himself and that’s great news for his value. It seems pretty easy to trust him right now and the Pacers will not be the team who tests him. Next round is a different story. But we’ll get there when we get there. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Sterling Brown (vs DET – $4,300): Needs 19.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.75 fantasy points against Detroit. Brown is drawing the start and given the Bucks ability to share the ball around, he’s not drawing a ton of attention, which helps his value. And he’s at a great salary given the minutes and opportunities he’s getting right now. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
