High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,250

Al Horford (vs IND – $6,600): Needs 31.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33.75 fantasy points against Indiana. Playoff Horford remains playoff Horford. He’s a guy who is going to get numbers in all categories and just find a way to get you value. Especially against an overmatch Pacers squad. If nothing else, he’ll get you value. I wouldn’t count on him for too much more because he’s just not a big number guy on most nights. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a decent ceiling.

Domantas Sabonis (at BOS – $6,300): Needs 30.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 21.75 fantasy points against Boston. Sabonis is your only other option in this spot and unfortunately, he’s just not much of an option. He can get going and be a high ceiling guy but he gets tough buckets and tough buckets are even tougher in the playoffs. And the Pacers just don’t have the firepower to take some pressure off of him. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

High Value PF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Marcus Morris (vs IND – $5,300): Needs 21.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.25 fantasy points against Indiana. I forgot about playoff Marcus Morris at home. Don’t take him on the road because his game doesn’t always travel. But his game plays well at home. And the Pacers don’t have enough to make him super uncomfortable. The shots will be there and he’ll do enough to at least get you value. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

P.J. Tucker (vs UTA – $4,200): Needs 19.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26 fantasy points against Utah. Tucker is another nice salary saving option who is going to get big minutes and opportunities. You can also go with Danuel House in this spot because he’s another guy who will get decent minutes. But Tucker’s are more guaranteed. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
