MINNEAPOLIS, MN – APRIL 23: Clint Capela #15 of the Houston Rockets reacts to a call during the first quarter in Game Four of Round One of the 2018 NBA Playoffs against the Minnesota Timberwolves on April 23, 2018 at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. High Salary C

Players costing over $6,667

Clint Capela (vs UTA – $8,700): Needs 39.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35.4 fantasy points against Utah. Capela may have been slightly down in Game 1 but I still prefer him over Gobert and Drummond due to his salary and his matchup. Gobert just isn’t reliable in this matchup and Drummond probably won’t accomplish much against the Bucks. Capela has proven he can get numbers against this matchup. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Al Horford (vs IND – $7,300): Needs 33 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.7 fantasy points against Indiana. Then there is the typically reliable Al Horford, who just puts up solid numbers in all categories and could maybe put up big numbers in a single category. He’s another guy who should be around value if nothing else and he won’t cost as much as Gobert or Drummond. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

High Value C

Players costing $6,667 or under

Myles Turner (at BOS – $6,500): Needs 29.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 20.6 fantasy points against Boston. I don’t love Turner but he’s going to get big minutes and the options below him, aside from Brook Lopez, aren’t all that great. Unless you want to take Aron Baynes or straight up punt on the position.

Brook Lopez (vs DET – $6,100): Needs 27.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.6 fantasy points against Detroit. But if you really want to save money, Lopez is the way to go. He’s been a reliable option for most of the season and he’ll continue to get minutes and opportunities. The Pistons don’t exactly have an answer for him either. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
