Game of the Week: Rams at 49ers

If the 49ers are going to make significant strides in 2019, they need to start beating the better teams on their schedule. Assuming Jimmy Garoppolo is fully recovered from his torn ACL, San Francisco is already substantially improved from the 4-12 team we saw a year ago. Against the Rams, the 49ers can make a statement within the NFC West.

As for Los Angeles, it needs to continue it’s momentum. The Rams have won the division each of the past two seasons and is the favorite to do a third time. With Jared Goff and Sean McVay still running the show, there’s little reason to believe it won’t happen.
