High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,250

D’Angelo Russell (vs PHI – $8,200): Needs 39 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 21 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Russell was down against the Sixers in. Game 2 but I like him in this game because I suspect the Nets will be better at home. Guys will hit shots in Brooklyn. Role players play better at home. You can go with Jamal Murray, another high ceiling guy, but the Spurs are a tough matchup on the road. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

DeMar DeRozan (vs DEN – $7,600): Needs 35.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 46.25 fantasy points against Denver. I fully trust DeRozan in this game. I actually love DeRozan in this game. He’s been good during this series and he’s at home. He’s also at a good salary compared to the rest of the field. He will get you value if nothing else but expect more. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

High Value SG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Klay Thompson (at LAC – $5,900): Needs 27.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28.25 fantasy points against LA Clippers. Klay is going to get hot at some point this series. And he typically does his best work when the Warriors need him the most. And they need him right now after blowing a 31 point lead. He’s at a good salary and I expect him to have one of those Klay Thompson games. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Gary Harris (at SA – $5,100): Needs 23.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.25 fantasy points against San Antonio. Harris has been very good during this series and even though the Nuggets are now on the road, Harris remains at a good salary and he’s the type of steady hand they need to overcome the Spurs on the road. He’ll dip, but his production should remain at value if nothing else. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
