High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,250

LaMarcus Aldridge (vs DEN – $7,500): Needs 35.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38 fantasy points against Denver. Aldridge has been good in the series but this feels like his first big game. The Spurs are at home and they’ve been great at home all season. And we know Aldridge has a high ceiling based on his minutes and opportunities. I have a feeling he hits big. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Montrezl Harrell (vs GS – $6,300): Needs 30.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41 fantasy points against Golden State. Harrell has been great in this series and while I expect the Warriors to adjust and not blow a 31 point lead, they haven’t had an answer for Harrell. And until I see them have an answer for Harrell, I will continue to take him. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

High Value PF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Tobias Harris (at BKN – $6,100): Needs 28.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.25 fantasy points against Brooklyn. Harris has dropped to a good salary and he’s coming off a strong game. I still like this matchup and if Embiid isn’t going to play (he will play) then you can go take Harris with even more confidence. If nothing else, he’s going to get you value in this game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Rudy Gay (vs DEN – $5,000): Needs 23.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 19.75 fantasy points against Denver. Gay hasn’t been great in this series but with the Spurs being at home, I suspect that guys like Gay are going to step up and make a bigger impact. The minutes and opportunities will be there for him and we know he has a high ceiling. He’s also at a good salary. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
