High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,667

Kevin Durant (at LAC – $9,800): Needs 40.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.5 fantasy points against LA Clippers. This feels like it could be a big Durant game. Given all the chatter, this feels like a good time for Durant to remind everyone why he’s the greatest scorer of his generation. Patrick Beverley is tough but he’s not going to bully Durant forever. If nothing else, he’ll be at value. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Danilo Gallinari (vs GS – $7,900): Needs 33 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 40.8 fantasy points against Golden State. As always, you typically know what you’re going to get from Gallinari. He’s been a reliable option all season and he’s been a reliable option in the playoffs. And the ceiling is higher, especially with the Clippers heading home. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Rudy Gay (vs DEN – $4,900): Needs 20.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 18.3 fantasy points against Denver. The series shifts to San Antonio and I expect the Spurs to play much better as a result. Gay hasn’t been great in this series but we know he can deliver a big outing and I have a good feeling about him in this game. He’s at a good salary given his usual minutes. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Joe Harris (vs PHI – $4,500): Needs 18.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 6.2 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Harris has not been good in this series but I’m not in love with any other option at the position and what I like about Harris is that the Nets are at home. And role players and shooters are better at home. He’ll get the shots. Trust them to fall. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.
