High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,667

LaMarcus Aldridge (vs DEN – $8,300): Needs 36 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.1 fantasy points against Denver. Aldridge has been fine in the series but with the series moving to San Antonio, it’s his time to shine. Aldridge and Spurs are better at home and we know Aldridge has a high ceiling because of his role on the team. I’m expecting his first big outing of the series in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Montrezl Harrell (vs GS – $8,000): Needs 34.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38 fantasy points against Golden State. Harrell has been great in this series and until I see him fall off, I will continue to trust him to be great in this series. The Warriors don’t seem to have an answer for him and while they’ll adjust, the Clippers will respond at home. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Paul Millsap (at SA – $6,000): Needs 26 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.9 fantasy points against San Antonio. Millsap stepped up in Game 2 because the Nuggets needed him to do just that. And they’ll need him even more in Game 3 with the series in San Antonio. The Nuggets are a young squad but Millsap is the guy who has been here and knows what to expect. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Kevon Looney (at LAC – $4,700): Needs 20.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25 fantasy points against LA Clippers. No Cousins will mean more Looney. Bogut might draw the start for the Warriors, but I suspect that Looney will end up getting more minutes. He’s at a good salary for the minutes and opportunities he should get. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
