NFL schedule 2019: Biggest game for all 32 teams
Indianapolis Colts: at New Orleans Saints
There may not be a scarier team in the AFC next season than the Colts, who took a massive leap forward thanks to a return to health from Andrew Luck. Luck, who missed all of the 2017 season due to a serious shoulder injury, was the NFL’s Comeback Player of the Year and guided Indianapolis back to the playoffs.
The Colts also thrived under the leadership of new head coach Frank Reich, who brought some of Philadelphia’s aggressive attitude with him to Indianapolis. Reich’s big call to go for it on a 4th and 2 in overtime against the Texans resulted in a loss, but it sent a tremendous message of belief in his players that Indianapolis rode to a 9-1 finish.
The Colts are now a must-watch team in 2019, and their most intriguing game comes against the New Orleans Saints. The matchup pits two elite quarterbacks in Luck and Drew Brees, a future Hall of Famer looking to cement his legacy with a second Super Bowl title.
Points should be plentiful in this game of high powered offenses and younger defenses. The game also is a huge measuring stick for Indianapolis, which will look to prove itself against one of the best teams in the NFC from a year ago.
