High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,250

Damian Lillard (at OKC – $9,100): Needs 44.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 54 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. Lillard has been great in this series and he’ll have to be even better in Game 3 because it’s on the road. But I trust Lillard far more than I trust Westbrook at this point. Westbrook may have a higher ceiling because of the triple-double factor but Lillard is certainly the more reliable player because he’s the better player. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Kyrie Irving (at IND – $8,900): Needs 43.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 63 fantasy points against Indiana. The Celtics couldn’t win on the road last year. Insert Kyrie Irving. Irving is a guy who knows how to get it done on the road and he will definitely show up in this game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

High Value PG

Players costing $6,250 or under

D.J. Augustin (vs TOR – $5,500): Needs 26.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 19.75 fantasy points against Toronto. Augustin was down in Game 2 but with the series shifting to Orlando, he should get a bit of a boost in this game. I’m not opposed to Darren Collison who I suspect will be better with the series in Indiana. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Michael Carter-Williams (vs TOR – $4,000): Needs 19.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 21.25 fantasy points against Toronto. If you want to save money and get reliable enough production, you can go with MCW. He’s been good for the Magic since joining them and he’s been solid during the series. He’s at a low cost so he’s not going to hurt you too much and he’s proven he can get at least value. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
