High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,250

CJ McCollum (at OKC – $6,900): Needs 32.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 52.5 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. Until I see OKC slow down McCollum, I will continue to take McCollum. He’s been great in the playoffs and I don’t trust the Thunder for anything right now, although I suspect we’ll see their best effort in this game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Bojan Bogdanovic (vs BOS – $6,000): Needs 27.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 46.5 fantasy points against Boston. Bojan showed up in Game 2 and with the series moving to Indiana, I expect him to keep producing. He’s been a reliable option all season and he’s shown a high ceiling due to his role on the team. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

High Value SG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Dennis Schroder (vs POR – $5,200): Needs 24.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 10.75 fantasy points against Portland. Schroder has not been good in this series but as it moves to OKC, shots have to start falling at some point, right? Probably not because nothing ever goes right for OKC. But Schroder will get the minutes and opportunities. And if he gets hot, he can be unstoppable. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

Terrence Ross (vs TOR – $5,000): Needs 23.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 21.75 fantasy points against Toronto. The Magic are at home and I always like role players and shooters more at home. The Raptors are still the better team without a doubt but Ross is at a decent enough salary and he’s a more reliable option than Schroder, even if his ceiling is lower. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
