High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,667

Pascal Siakam (at ORL – $8,500): Needs 36.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.5 fantasy points against Orlando. Siakam may have been down in Game 2 but I’m not worried about him. The matchup is still great and he’s been. A force in the series, even if his numbers were slightly down. He’s not my favorite option to build around but he will definitely get numbers. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Thaddeus Young (vs BOS – $7,100): Needs 30.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38.7 fantasy points against Boston. Young has been very good in the series and with Sabonis playing down, he will have to continue to step up. With the Pacers at home, this should be another chance for Young to shine in this matchup. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Jerami Grant (vs POR – $5,500): Needs 23.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 12.8 fantasy points against Portland. Grant has been terrible in this series but with the Thunder heading home, their role players should start to hit shots. I’m not sold on OKC at all because they haven’t proven anything, but his salary is decent enough and he will continue to get the minutes and opportunities. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Al-Farouq Aminu (at OKC – $5,400): Needs 23.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 24.3 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. Aminu has been great during this series and he’s a guy on Portland who I trust to step up on the road. He’s given OKC issues all season and until I see him not perform against the Thunder, I will continue to take him. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
