High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,667

Eric Bledsoe (at DET – $8,000): Needs 35.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 51.8 fantasy points against Detroit. I’ve loved Bledsoe in this series because he always kills Detroit. And he’s coming off a huge game against them. The Pistons have no answer for him (they have no answer for the Bucks as a team) and he continues to put up big numbers. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Ricky Rubio (vs HOU – $7,100): Needs 31.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 45.3 fantasy points against Houston. There are some strong options above Rubio and guys with a higher ceiling. But the Rockets are clearly loading up to stop Mitchell and Ingles while allowing Rubio to get his numbers. Until I see that change, I’ll continue to ride Rubio. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

High Value PG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Derrick White (vs DEN – $6,500): Needs 28.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 60.5 fantasy points against Denver. White came up huge in Game 3 because that’s what the Spurs do at home. They are a great home team and the Nuggets looked a little shook. The Nuggets should be better but I still like White based on his overall game and salary. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

George Hill (at DET – $4,500): Needs 19.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 18.9 fantasy points against Detroit. If you’re looking to save a little bit of money, Hill is your guy. He’s played well in the playoffs, it at a low salary and gets enough minutes to make him a worthy addition. And the Bucks are very good while the Pistons are not so good. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
