High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,667

Giannis Antetokounmpo (at DET – $11,500): Needs 47.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 47.4 fantasy points against Detroit. Giannis is your only true high salary option and he’s a good high salary option because he’s Giannis. Even in limited minutes, he’s putting up his usual strong numbers. If the Pistons can somehow make it competitive, that’s even better news for Giannis. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Joe Ingles (vs HOU – $6,300): Needs 26 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 24.2 fantasy points against Houston. Ingles is below the line but your only other option. As I mentioned earlier, the Rockets have a plan and it’s worked to perfection. And their plan is to cut off Ingles and Mitchell. If Ingles is going to have a big game, this would be it. But I don’t see it. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

JJ Redick (at BKN – $5,500): Needs 22.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28 fantasy points against Brooklyn. Redick found his shot in Game 3 and that’s hopefully a positive sign for him coming into this game. The shots will be there for him and the Sixers certainly need his scoring with Embiid to miss another game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Rudy Gay (vs DEN – $5,200): Needs 21.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26 fantasy points against Denver. Once again, I love the Spurs at home. The Nuggets will be better in this one but the Spurs have some good value in their role players that you know will contribute. And Gay is a role player that can definitely contribute. If you want to save money, Royce O’Neal is a solid option. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
