High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,250

Damian Lillard (at OKC – $9,200): Needs 44.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 49.5 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. Lillard continues to dominate this series and with OKC poking the bear…well, you don’t want to poke the bear. I expect another big game for Lillard because he’s on another level right now. The Thunder can stop others on the team, but they have no answer for Dame. Westbrook has the higher ceiling if you want to spend more, but Kyrie is more reliable. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Kyrie Irving (at IND – $9,000): Needs 43.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 46.25 fantasy points against Indiana. Much like Lillard, Irving has been fantastic during this series. Because he’s the best player on the court and he knows what it takes to raise his level in the playoffs. Kyrie should continue to get it done in a big way. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

High Value PG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Dennis Schroder (vs POR – $5,400): Needs 25.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36.75 fantasy points against Portland. Schroder came alive for the Thunder in Game 3 because that’s how he goes. He’s a streaky player but the minutes and shots are always going to be there for him. He can be hit-and-miss but when he’s on, he’s a a big pick up. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (vs GS – $4,700): Needs 22.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 15.75 fantasy points against Golden State. It’s a pretty weak crop at the value point guard position. I’m honestly not in love with anyone and there’s better value at other positions. But SAG is going to get the minutes and that will lead to chances. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
