High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,667

Damian Lillard (at OKC – $10,000): Needs 43.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 47.8 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. Lillard has been. Great in this series and while Curry and Westbrook may have higher ceilings, they also cost a bit more. And Lillard is the more reliable option as well because he doesn’t have to compete for opportunities with other top players. No offense to CJ McCollum. And he won’t take kindly to the Thunder mocking him during Game 3. Lillard should shine here. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Kyrie Irving (at IND – $9,700): Needs 42.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 44 fantasy points against Indiana. Kyrie has been good in this series because he’s one guy on the Celtics you can trust to step up, especially on the road. And in a close out game. This should be Kyrie’s time to shine once more. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

High Value PG

Players costing $6,667 or under

D.J. Augustin (vs TOR – $5,800): Needs 25.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 10.4 fantasy points against Toronto. Augustin hasn’t been great since Game 1 and the Raptors have put more effort into slowing him down. The ceiling is still high because the minutes are there in a big way. And he can get hot from the field. But he’s a slight risk. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (vs GS – $4,900): Needs 22.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 17.2 fantasy points against Golden State. I don’t exactly love anyone in the value point guard position. But much like Augustin, SAG is going to get the minutes. And he did have a strong Game 1. He’s a better option than Beverley just because he has more offensive upside than Beverley. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
