FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – April 21, 2019
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,667
Paul George (vs POR – $10,400): Needs 42.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 39.2 fantasy points against Portland. George still can’t find consistency with his shot but he’s still putting up decent enough numbers in all categories. And if he goes get hot from the field, that’s even better news for his value. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Kevin Durant (at LAC – $10,000): Needs 41 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 54.3 fantasy points against LA Clippers. Durant is typically a reliable option and he always has a high ceiling, especially if coach is going to run more plays for him. The Clippers have no answer for Durant because no team has an answer for Durant. And when he wants to dominate, he will dominate. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
High Value SF
Players costing $6,667 or under
Jonathan Isaac (vs TOR – $5,600): Needs 23 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35.9 fantasy points against Toronto. There aren’t too many great value small forward options but Isaac is coming off a strong game and aside from Game 2 against the Raptors, he’s been very good against Toronto all season. The minutes and chances will be there but I don’t love the salary. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
Tyreke Evans (vs BOS – $4,500): Needs 18.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 21.9 fantasy points against Boston. Hayward has a higher ceiling if you want to go that route. But Evans has been a reliable option, even in limited minutes. And he’s at a good salary. He’s been a disappointment for the Pacers this ceiling but maybe he gets hot in what could be their final game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
