The youngest professional wrestler on our list checks in at No. 25, and by the time his career is over who knows how high he will end up placing. We’re talking about the current NXT North American Champion, the Velveteen Dream.
No one could have guessed that back in June of 2015 when the WWE Universe first saw the Dream, who was going by his real name Patrick Clark on the reality show Tough Enough, would make the list of one of the greatest entrances of all time. But the Dream has accomplished that goal and he’s still climbing.
The Dream describes his entire character as an experience, and his entrance is no exception. Coming out to the tune of “Velveteen” by CFO$ (who makes a majority of WWE music you listen to and may or may not enjoy today) he never hesitates to go out of his way to make his entrance as memorable as possible.
NXT Takeover is where the Dream’s entrances have shined the brightest, from the props he uses to his gear ranging from tributes to the Immortal Hulk Hogan all the way to a message for the Chairman of WWE Vince McMahon himself asking the boss to “Call him up”. There is nothing the Dream won’t do to make sure you remember his entrances for many years to come.
