Number 24 is quite a unique individual. There hasn’t been a man to come along since the Undertaker to make an impact with their entrance quite like Aleister Black. While some people might want to dub Black “the new Undertaker” he really is his own rare breed of a professional wrestler. A new type of wrestler for a new era of this industry.
His entrance is no exception. It absolutely stands out. It makes you stop what you’re doing and take notice. Black debuted this entrance back in 2016 at NXT Takeover: Orlando against Andrade “Cien” Almas and it immediately caught the attention of the WWE Universe and they haven’t stopped paying attention since.
His music, “Root of all Evil,” was once performed live for him by Code Orange and Incendiary. Something cool to note about his entrance theme is that he himself had a hand in helping to write the lyrics. Helping to shape what you come to the ring with, something you truly believe in, goes a long way in helping the character come through during his entrance.
Black has recently been called up to the main roster of WWE and for the most part, his entrance has stayed perfectly intact except for some weird haunted house-type noises when he rises up on the ramp at the beginning of his entrance. Those sound effects were not present in his final NXT appearance at TakeOver: New York so hopefully, if we’re lucky they’ll go away on the main roster sooner rather than later.
