High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,250
Chris Paul (at UTA – $7,000): Needs 33.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35 fantasy points against Utah. Paul has been solid in this series and we know he does have a big game in him. We haven’t seen it yet and maybe he’s waiting until the second round. But he’s a reliable option if nothing else. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Eric Bledsoe (at DET – $6,800): Needs 32.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36 fantasy points against Detroit. But with the money being what it is, I prefer Bledsoe of the two. He’s also a reliable option and has shown that he does have the higher ceiling. And he always kills the Pistons. I like Bledsoe more than Paul on Monday night given what we know about the circumstances. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
High Value PG
Players costing $6,250 or under
Reggie Jackson (vs MIL – $5,100): Needs 24 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36.5 fantasy points against Milwaukee. The Pistons are dead in the water but Jackson is getting his numbers, so at least there is that. He’s shown to have a high ceiling but he’s also Reggie Jackson so he’s not exactly the most reliable option on the night. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
George Hill (at DET – $3,900): Needs 18.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25.25 fantasy points against Detroit. And if you want to save money at this position, Hill is your best choice. He’s been solid in this series and gets enough minutes due to his role on the team and the fact that the Bucks keep blowing out the Pistons. He’s also shown to have a decent enough ceiling. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
