High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,250

Damian Lillard (vs OKC – $8,800): Needs 42.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41.75 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. Lillard may have been slightly down in Game 4 but I’m not worried about him. The Blazers will come out strong in this game and probably make it look easy against a Thunder team with very little juice. Lillard is going for the throat in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Jamal Murray (vs SA – $6,300): Needs 29.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36.5 fantasy points against San Antonio. You never know quite what you’re going to get out of Murray but he does have a high ceiling and we know he’s going to get his shots up. I like him at home because I always like star players better at home. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

High Value PG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Derrick White (at DEN – $5,700): Needs 26.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 20.5 fantasy points against Denver. There isn’t much to like at the value guard position on Tuesday. It’s a lot of guys who get minutes and have a high ceiling but who just aren’t getting it done. White falls into that category but I trust the Spurs more than the Magic or the Thunder. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Bryn Forbes (at DEN – $3,900): Needs 18.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 19 fantasy points against Denver. But if you really want to save some money, you can go with Forbes. He’s been decent enough in this series and he’s not going to hurt you much at this price. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
