Joel Embiid (vs BKN – $11,300): Needs 51.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 79.7 fantasy points against Brooklyn. Embiid is listed as probable so I’m going to assume that he plays. He’s killed the Sixers all season because they have no frontcourt to deal with him and he’ll kill them once more in this game. Maybe minutes are a concern but that’s about it. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Nikola Jokic (vs SA – $10,500): Needs 47.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 55.4 fantasy points against San Antonio. One guy who will get guaranteed minutes in Jokic. He’s played very well in this series and any worries about him should be gone after four games. He should get it done with ease with the Nuggets being at home. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

High Value C

Players costing $6,667 or under

Jarrett Allen (at PHI – $5,500): Needs 24.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 40.6 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Allen has been solid enough in. This series and he showed a high ceiling in his last game. Gasol and Adams aren’t exactly strong options at the moment although I don’t mind Gasol as he’s a fairly reliable option. But Allen has the much higher ceiling. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Jakob Poeltl (at DEN – $4,900): Needs 22.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 24.8 fantasy points against Denver. Poeltl has been a reliable option at a good price if you want to go that route. The minutes are there and you can always trust guys on San Antonio who get enough minutes. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
