2019 NFL mock draft: Kyler Murray finally goes to Cardinals

The Marvin Lewis Era in Cincinnati is officially over, as the team fired him after the 2018 NFL season. During his time as the head coach, Lewis was able to rack up a bunch of regular season wins, however, he never could get over the hump in the playoffs, winning zero games over a 16-year run.

This off-season, the Bengals hired a first time head coach in Zac Taylor, who recently coached under Sean McVay with the Los Angeles Rams. Taylor is a guy who works really well quarterbacks, especially young ones, and he may want to bring in his own guy this off-season.

With the No. 11 overall pick in the first round, the Bengals may look the target Missouri quarterback Drew Lock, who got better every year when he was on campus with the Tigers. Lock has the arm talent and size to be a special player at the NFL level, and in Taylor, he’ll have the perfect head coach.

Looking at this Bengals team, they playing the division that is going to be very tough for them in 2019, and while Andy Dalton is on a friendly contract, don’t rule out them taking a quarterback at number 11. Lock is a guy who is certainly going to hear his name called in the first round, and he could end up being the best quarterback to come out this year.
