Offensive Lineman. NC State. Garrett Bradbury. 23. player. 10.

During the 2017 NFL Draft, the Houston Texans traded up for Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson in the first round. An incredibly gifted leader on the football field, Watson was fresh off leading the Tigers to a stunning national championship victory over the Alabama Crimson Tide, and many felt he would become a star at the next level.

In his rookie season, Watson looked all the part, leading the Texans to some solid wins before being injured, and seeing his season end early. Last season, it took him a while to get his feet back under him, but he led the Texans to a division title, and they should be a team to beat as long as he is under center.

When it comes to the 2019 NFL Draft, there are two areas that stand out to me when it comes to the Texans, and that is cornerback, and offensive line. While there won’t be too many first round corners still available at No. 23 overall, they could get an elite offensive lineman, as Garrett Bradbury is one of the better interior linemen in this draft class.

Protecting Watson has got to be priority No. 1 for the Texans, who will have a hard time repeating in a very deep AFC South this upcoming season. Watson is a special player, and they have the talent on both sides of the ball to be a perennial playoff contender with him as their quarterback, but they cannot afford to have him go down again.
