DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – April 24, 2019
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,250
Steph Curry (vs LAC – $8,300): Needs 39 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41.5 fantasy points against LA Clippers. You typically know what you’re getting out of Steph against the Warriors. He can have a. Bad shooting night but the opportunities are obviously always going to be there for him. And in a closeout game, I’m expecting the Warriors to simply roll through the Clippers in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Chris Paul (vs UTA – $7,100): Needs 34.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 56.5 fantasy points against Utah. But if you want to save some money and go with a reliable option, Paul is your play. He’s been solid in this series and showed a high ceiling in the last game. With the Rockets being back at home, expect them to show out with ease. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
High Value PG
Players costing $6,250 or under
Ricky Rubio (at HOU – $5,700): Needs 27.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42.75 fantasy points against Houston. As I’ve said all series, the Rockets are fine with Rubio getting his numbers. And he’s been getting his numbers. He remains a nice value player given his production in this series and his typical minutes. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (at GS – $4,700): Needs 22.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33 fantasy points against Golden State. I continue to like SAG’s game overall but I’m not too sure about the Clippers on Wednesday. Great teams figure out a way to blowout not so great teams at home in an elimination game. And the Warriors are a great team. They won’t play around on Wednesday. But SAG will get the minutes. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
