High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,667

Chris Paul (vs UTA – $8,100): Needs 35.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 60.1 fantasy points against Utah. You can also go with Steph Curry in this spot but Paul has proven to be a reliable player with a high ceiling in this matchup and in the playoffs in general. And with the Rockets looking to close things out, they should take care of business in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Ricky Rubio (at HOU – $7,400): Needs 32.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41.1 fantasy points against Houston. As I’ve been saying all series, the Rockets seem content on giving Rubio what he wants and he’s doing plenty with those opportunities. I don’t like the Jazz much on Wednesday but it’s not like you have a ton of great options. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

High Value PG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (at GS – $5,500): Needs 24.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.4 fantasy points against Golden State. I don’t know if SAG ca come up with the same performance but he’s going to keep getting the minutes and opportunities, which certainly helps his cause. And again, with a light slate, you just don’t have many options. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Patrick Beverley (at GS – $5,300): Needs 23.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42.5 fantasy points against Golden State. Beverley is in the same boat as SAG although I think SAG is the more reliable player. Beverley has proven to have a high ceiling. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
