29. Seattle Seahawks (via Kansas City Chiefs) – Garrett Bradbury, C, NC State

The Seahawks acquired this pick in the trade of Frank Clark. They took offensive lineman Cody Ford with their first pick but double up and take the draft’s top center. It’s not their biggest need but he’s the best player on the board. Philosophically, it’s an important pick because he’ll protect $140 million man Russell Wilson.

Seattle likes to run the ball and control the line of scrimmage. But they always haven’t had the offensive line to dictate the line of scrimmage. If they take Ford and Bradbury, they’ll have the makings of one of the more promising young lines in the NFL.

30. Green Bay Packers (via New Orleans Saints) – A.J. Brown, WR, Ole Miss

There have been some whispers the Packers could use one of their two first-round picks this year on a quarterback to groom behind Aaron Rodgers. That doesn’t make sense when he’s nowhere close to hanging it up. This isn’t like Brett Favre at the end of his run. The time, however, is right to give Rodgers another weapon opposite Davante Adams.

A.J. Brown was a former blue-chip recruit and set Ole Miss receiving records with the Rebels. While D.K. Metcalf stole headlines for his Mr. Universe physique, it’s Brown who is the better all-around receiver who should help fill the void left by Randall Cobb leaving in free agency.
