13. Miami Dolphins – Clelin Ferrell, DE, Clemson

Miami Dolphins fans may be screaming for a quarterback but they don’t address the position at this part of the draft. They may on Day 2, but with the defensive line class so rich, it’s too hard to pass up Clelin Ferrell. The reigning ACC Defensive Player of the Year saved his best game for his last game when he had three sacks vs. Jonah Williams in the win over Alabama in the National Championship Game.

Ferrell has 38 tackles for loss and 21 sacks over the last two seasons at Clemson. He was a part of a star-studded unit that was one of the best lines in recent college football history. Ferrell was overshadowed by his teammates at times in college but he projects as the best pro because of his arsenal of pass rush moves and the ability to get to the quarterback.

14. Atlanta Falcons – Christian Wilkins, DT, Clemson

This would make back-to-back Clemson Tigers coming off the board. Christian Wilkins was the big star as a decorated four-year starter and two-time national champion. Wilkins may lack the high-end ceiling of some of the defensive linemen selected ahead of him, but he might have the lowest floor too.

Wilkins is a consistent performer who can rush the passer, stop the run, line up in a number of spots on the line and is a great guy to have in the locker room. He was the face of Clemson along with quarterbacks Deshaun Watson and Trevor Lawrence. He is a tremendous leader and willing to do anything on the field, including special teams or lining up in the backfield on goal line offense.
