High Value Guards

Players costing under $8,333

Gary Harris (at SA – $7,000): Needs 32.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 22.5 fantasy points against San Antonio. Harris has been a consistent option in this series and if you don’t want to spend big on your Captain while still getting a good boost, Harris is a solid option. He’s going to get numbers and the boost will help him out if he’s your Captain. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Monte Morris (at SA – $4,600): Needs 22.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 21.5 fantasy points against San Antonio. Morris has been solid and he’s another guy where you can save money at the Captain spot and get a nice boost while filling out your utility spots with higher salary guys. If nothing else, he should probably be on your team to save money. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Torrey Craig (at SA – $3,800): Needs 17.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 15 fantasy points against San Antonio. I also like Craig because he is the starter and gets plenty of minutes. I like his game overall and he’s proven that he can step up in this series. He’s another guy who makes for a nice salary saver and should be around value. Depending on your Captain strategy, you can save money with him. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
